Julie Mitchell
Parcel Design

Following a degree in English Communications from McGill University, Julie built a career in branding and communication design with positions at Toronto design firm Spencer Francey Peters and top marketing organizations including Watt International and The Body Shop.

In 1999, Julie decided to pursue her entrepreneurial spirit, first by becoming a sought-after marketing consultant, and then as founder of Parcel Design Inc, a Communication Design Firm she established in 2003.

Since its launch, Parcel has enjoyed much success with a rapidly growing staff and an active client list that includes Allseating Corporation, MaRS, Children's Aid Foundation and Women in Capital Markets. In 2006, Parcel was named one of Canada’s Hot 50 Emerging Growth Companies by Profit Magazine.

Julie shares her experiences as both an entrepreneur and marketer as a board member of The Toronto Chapter of EO (Entrepreneur’s Organization), a position that has enabled her to learn best practices from business owners around the world.
